The Sue Fryer 3C Memorial Ride
/It is with a heavy heart that we write this note as our beloved friend Sue Fryer lost her battle to cancer on Friday. She fought to the very end and died peacefully with her partner Ian by her side.
Sue was an incredible lady, one of the most selfless individuals we knew. There would not be a 3C club event that she was not supporting, cheering or laughing at and future events will not be the same without her.
In honour of our friend, 3C Cycle Club members rode out today (Sunday 30th September) to do exactly as she would have wanted, laugh, joke, trade stories and ride our bikes. We stopped for coffee and cake at Cafe Velo, where Pete welcomed us in and said some lovely words as he had done many times before for Sue and Ian.
We were privileged to call Sue our friend and we will always remember her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ian and the family and we will be here to support and help in any way we can.
